Z Energy, a New Zealand-based company, has developed an Android app called Z App that offers its customers a unique way of refueling their cars and energy levels. The app comes with a virtual fuel tank called Sharetank, which allows users to fill up their tanks anytime, anywhere, and share it with up to five friends or family members.
Apart from refueling, the Z App also offers a pre-ordering feature for barista-made coffee and chilled drinks, allowing users to beat the queue and save time. Users can also buy up to 1000 liters of fuel at a lower price and use it anytime they want. Additionally, they can pay for fuel using the app through their credit, debit, or Z card details or by choosing Sharetank as their preferred payment method.
The Z App also provides its users with access to combined fuel discounts with Pumped and rewards when they add Flybuys or Airpoints™. Users can collect virtual vouchers and stamps for a free coffee, carwash, or BBQ gas bottle. They can also track their carbon emissions with Carbon Count and choose to offset their emissions through permanent New Zealand forests each time they fill up at a Z station.
